SPCC
Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure
This section of our web site is designed to assist you in meeting the requirements of the Federal Oil Pollution Prevention Regulation, Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 112, which includes the Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan requirements and the Facility Response Plan (FRP) requirements. The following information will help you determine if you are required to have an SPCC plan and if you will also be required to have a FRP.
Experience that Counts
Wilson Environmental has prepared SPCC Plans for hundreds of facilities and can provide you with a detailed cost estimate to prepare your SPCC Plan. Costs for preparing a Plan can be as low as $1,500 with a typical Plan costing in the range of $2,500 to $3,000 depending on the complexity of the site. Larger facilities and multi-job site facilities may be able to save money with a Multi-Site General Plan. According to the regulations, a Registered Professional Engineer must examine the facility in order to certify the plan. In some cases this will involve additional travel related expenses. FRPs, Integrated Contingency Plans and USGC Plans can also be prepared for your facility. |
